60 SECOND INTERVIEW WITH ALISON
What are you most proud of in your work with singers?
I’m always really moved when someone discovers they can do something they might have believed wasn’t possible. For one person it might be reaching a particular note with ease – for another it might be discovering how to be able to sing in tune or finding that they can sing any note in their range with true expression and make a beautiful sound. With a bit of technical know-how, it’s truly amazing what people can achieve.
Why ‘The Singing Surgery’? – It’s an unusual name.
